The National Parks Authority is conducting a visitor survey at twelve of its sites throughout St Vincent. The purpose of the survey is to collect information that can be used to enhance visitor services at the co-managed sites.
The survey collects data on visitor profile (age range, nationality and interest) level of satisfaction with facility and services and recommendations for improvement and additional services. Seven hundred questionnaires will be distributed to collect data from residents and non-residents visiting the recreation sites.
A similar visitor survey was conduct in 2014, when five hundred and eighty surveys were distributed across eleven sites during the months of April to June 2014. The information collected from the survey indicated that visitors were satisfied with the infrastructure and associated services, but felt the need for more historic interpretation, local food and craft sale.
