The South Coast Marine and Coastal Rehabilitation Adaptation Project to Improve Ecosystem Health and Build Resilience to Climate Change in the Southern Caribbean nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines seeks to:

  • Restore the environmental integrity of the South Coast Marine Conservation area, by improving the natural marine ecosystem and increasing fish biomass; and
  • Prevent and reduce to acceptable levels land and marine based stressors, and improve ambient marine water quality.

The project is being funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of the Federal Republic of Germany, with technical and administrative support from the Caribbean Community Climate Change Center (CCCCC), and the National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
