The OECS Commission is soliciting applications from individuals, businesses, groups and organizations under its Livelihoods Support Fund (LSF) in support of sustainable livelihoods initiatives.The LSF is aimed at providing resources for strengthening existing capacity for income generation, or for new or additional livelihood opportunities. This support will be provided under the Eastern Caribbean Marine Managed Areas Network (ECMMAN) project.

Approximately EC$200,000 is allocated to St Vincent and the Grenadines under this fund. The level of investment under the fund may range from EC$10,000 to EC$100,000 for each project. The fund has been established to finance interventions that will:

(a) Successfully demonstrate innovative and sustainable livelihood opportunities within coastal communities, and

(b) Impact positively on the coastal resources.

The objective of the LSF is to support the undertaking of livelihood activities and micro-enterprises that would impact positively on the Tobago Cays Marine Park and South Coast Marine Managed Areas.
